As we step into August, there’s a subtle shift in the air. The long, golden days of summer begin to wane, and with them comes a sense of reflection. For many, this time of year marks the closing of a chapter — vacations wrap up, routines slowly return, and the busyness of fall begins to stir on the horizon.

But before we rush ahead, Bishop Dr. Clarence McClain invites us to pause and lean into a deeper truth with his sermon, "God’s Summer Camp." In it, he reminds us that while the season may be winding down, God’s work within us is still very much in motion.
