American Legion Raleigh Post 1- Inaugural Veterans Breakfast
Raleigh NC- July 30, 2025
American Legion Raleigh Post 1 proudly hosted its inaugural Veterans Breakfast in the new facility, uniting veterans from the Korean War, Vietnam, Beirut, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, and the Global War on Terrorism. This breakfast served not only as a vital resource for veterans to access essential information from expert guest speakers but also fostered important discussions about the challenges veterans face today. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect, share experiences, and empower each other in solidarity.
The breakfast event was a tremendous success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated leadership of the Rolesville Veterans Group, which led the charge. Founded by Jerry Mangum, a proud US Army Veteran, community leader, and Director-at-Large at American Legion Raleigh Post 1, this group is committed to uplifting our veterans. American Legion Raleigh Post 1 eagerly anticipates partnering with the Rolesville Veterans Group and other like-minded organizations to further support and honor our veterans in the future.
