Dear Beloved in Christ, To our beloved veterans, we thank you with deep respect and enduring gratitude. Your service, marked by courage, sacrifice, and unwavering duty, reflects the highest ideals of honor and commitment. As a fellow Marine, I understand the weight of the trials you’ve faced—both seen and unseen.
Yet, even in our hardest battles, God’s redemptive power meets us with healing, strength, and renewed purpose. He turns our wounds into testimonies and our trials into triumphs. May you always be reminded that your journey is not forgotten, your sacrifices not in vain, and your life is held securely in the hands of a faithful God. Stand tall, knowing that His grace is sufficient and His plan for you is still unfolding with power and purpose.
Today, we gather not only to remember but to reflect — to honor the lives of those who served with valor, and to draw strength from their example. The title of this message, “Men of Valor: So Some Gave, But Many Gave All,” calls us to a deeper understanding of sacrifice. While some offered time, strength, and service, many gave everything — their very lives — for a cause greater than themselves.
And yet, their legacy lives on, not just in history books or on memorial walls, but in the hearts of those who carry their spirit forward. As we open the Word today, let us be reminded that true valor is not just found on battlefields, but in the daily surrender to God’s calling — and in the redeeming power of Christ, who gave all that we might live.
